OUR BISHOP

Bishop Timothy L. Cook was born in Hubbard, TX to Terry and Dorothy Cook. As a young child, Pastor Cook moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he graduated from Trimble Tech High School. Soon after he joined the United States Navy where he gave 8 years of service. After his tour, he left and joined the Army. After hearing the call he decided to leave the Armed Forces and pursue a different army, "The Army of the Lord".

Pastor Cook and his family were members of Arising C.O.G.I.C. which later changed to Arising True Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Wallace Bailey, Jr. Pastor Cook exhibited dedication and faithfulness to God and his church leadership. He worked with diligence as a Head Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. God elevated him to minister in 1991 and a year later he was ordained as an Elder.

He worked as an Associate Elder and Armorbearer to his Bishop for over 8 years. Pastor Cook heard the call of God and founded New Beginning True Holiness Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

God instructed Bishop to take New Beginning to unite with United Holiness Assemblies International under the leadership of Apostle Johnnie and Pastor Julia Smith. He received his Bachelors and Master's degree in Urban Ministries from Aspen Christian College.  On July 19, 2020 by the leading of God, Pastor Cook was made Jurisdictional Bishop over the Texas region.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.

We believe that there is one God eternally existential in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God that is in Christ at his return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.

We believe that the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.

We believe that Redemption by the Holy Spirit and by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a holy and separate life in this present world. Amen
